About Our Resort

Our lodge, established in 1923, is nestled in the semi-remote French River Delta. Come and enjoy our private 16-acre island located in the heart of Northern Ontario's finest fishing and hunting grounds. Bring your family or friends and experience the excitement a sportfishing adventure can provide. We boast a healthy population of Walleye (pickerel), Northern Pike, Muskie, Bass and Panfish. Our ideal location offers the avid fisherman or canoeist access to the waters of Georgian Bay and its main tributaries.

ImageThe French River is one of Ontario's oldest and most scenic river systems. This freshwater system flows from Lake Nipissing to Georgian Bay. The area of the French River Delta from Recollett Falls at Highway 69, to Georgian Bay is a landscape almost untouched by modern man. In this semi-remote wilderness setting our guests have the opportunity to enjoy excellent fishing, canoeing, and a chance to see a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. Getting to our area is not a huge headache for travelers. To enhance our setting we offer you fine accommodations, excellent customer service, all located within a reasonable driving range for most visitors.
